I stress daily over things peej. And I don't see that stopping. I'll start watching what I eat but there is very little I can do to not stress.

I'll say it again. You need to see a doctor sooner rather than later.

Your bottom number, diastolic, which is the pressure of your blood coming back to your heat [sic] is the bigger concern.

Link me studies where treating diastolic hypertension affects mortality?

I feel fine. No headaches or anything like that.

That's why they call it the silent killer. See your doc and get on medication, probably just a beta blocker.

Stress can be a big factor... One reason it took so long for me to get back to normal was that I was stressing about being so sick.. I have mellowed bigtime since all this happened... I should be dead but timing is everything and I got real lucky by getting the right docs to help me get well.... When I get back to work my stress level will go up. That's just the way my job is... Go to the doc.. Tell him/her whats going on. don't leave ANYTHING out. They have meds that can control your BP.....

I plan to if it doesn't decrease any in a few weeks. I just really really hate going to the dr.

You will hate it worse if you don't go. AND soon... Screw work or anything else.. Make this a priority. Serious man... If you don't have your health you aint got shite.... You are only 29.. You have a long life ahead...

I don't think you will see a significant change in two weeks. You have received a lot of good non medical suggestions, eg, exercise, diet, etc. But you need to see your doctor ASAP so he can determine if there are any medical conditions contributing to your high BP.
