Growing up when we'd go to our condo on Hilton Head I would stand on the 2nd floor balcony and throw bread to the seagulls. I'd sometimes hold a longer strip out in my fingers and the seagulls would fly by and take it from my hand.

I've swatted more than a couple of those sneaky bastids in the head with my fishing rod when they tried to sneak up behind me. They learn pretty quickly to leave you alone.
