I personally don't mind receiving them, however I don't send work texts during non-working hours unless it's an emergency or something important that needs to be resolved before business opening the next day.

I am surprised really. I thought texts were no big deal.
If I hear a text in the night I usually just lay there and think that I will view it tomorrow.
I always thought it was no big deal to just zap a text anytime. They can reply when ever they wish if it was sent after hours.

So now since I see the direction of email etiquette, does that same now hold true for Facebook, Instagram and Messenger messaging. Does that cut off at 5pm M-F too?

What if I want to text my female therapist for a booty call after say 8:00 pm ? She has a husband and two kids.
