I have my Great great grandfathers straight blade razor and wooden lather bowl and brush that he used during the Civil War and after.
I have one of only a few known remaining Western Union Master Clocks made by the Self Winding Clock Company in the 1890s. My dad worked for WU back in the 60s and was given the task of emptying out the Spartanburg, SC after they closed it down. Was just told to get everything left hauled off to the dump. The Master Clock was still there so he brought it home. It still has the daily check cards that were signed by employees signifying that the clock was in sync with the Naval Observatory clock.
In those days, everyone in a town synced their watch to the Western Union master clock as they walked by the office. It was a matter of necessity, especially for the railroads.

A Steven Seigal autograph pic from a mid 1990's Mardigras parade. He's in a helicopter with a weapon on his crotch spread eagle.

I have few things I got from my grandfather that I'm hesitant to post because I think it might be illegal to own them. One is something a missionary friend brought my grandfather from a archaeological dig in Egypt back in the 60's. Another is something my grandfather brought back from WWII. Let's just say it works and it's the first thing I'm grabbing in the zombie apocalypse.
