It just looks tacky because the grill was an afterthought and doesn’t match the rest of that car. Or any car for that matter.

The GX is an excellent vehicle if you can get past the atrocious styling.

To the OP: if you don’t need the off road capability of the GX, try the Volvo XC90. It’s a legitimately good vehicle with excellent styling. Much better infotainment than the Lexus too.
