What are the better heating pads?

Most of what I see in store is sunbeam , in other words, cheap crap.

I’ve had two sunbeams for over 5 years. At the price, they’re a good value. No need to overthink it.

Recently bought a Serta and it's great. Lightweight, gets warm quick and is soft and easy to handle. Microfiber and it is well made. I highly recommend it. Available from Walmart and Amazon. Don't get the one with the fuzzy lining. I believe that one is called a Serpa.
