In the 70's and 80's, these things were dangerous as frick for a young guy.
Pick up some ice cream and Coke on the way home, run out to get a six pack during the game, snacks on the way to work...
End of the month you get a huge bill and wonder, "What the hell did I buy at K&B?"

quote:I was a manager trainee at K&B, between jobs. It was horrible. I got out of there as soon as I could.
I worked at K&B in college. Was my first real job. I quit around the time Rite Aid bought them out.
Everyone there hated their job. The district manager would come in and ignore the employees like we were stock on the shelves. The store manager was a perv who looked through every single set of customer photos that we developed. I'd worked in retail before but I'd never been in a store where everybody hated the place.
I blame it on the purple vests.

Funny you say that. My manager would look through the customers photos too! I NEVER had film developed there, and I worked in the place. Lol Must've been a K&B thing. He was an old perv, but he was cool to me at the time. I was only 18, so I gave zero fricks.
The worse was that they gave all the employees a K&B credit card, but it wasn't a real credit card, it was linked to your check. They would take the charges out of your paycheck each pay period. There were times where I'd get a $100 paycheck for 2 weeks. Lol

Anything Goes. Loved that theme restaurant as a kid.
