Industry studies are biased in their data methods to present numbers in their favor. Truckers cause accidents that they are never aware of.

Swift tend to be the one I see involved in accidents the most in my travels from Georgia to Texas monthly, but the damn Fed-EX drivers are the worse for whipping out to pass another truck and taking from Meridian to Jackson to complete the pass.

Yeah, you are correct.
But many 4 wheelers cause accidents that they are not aware of.

I see 18 wheelers doing 80 on the Atchafalaya Basin every morning and afternoon. There's a reason the speed limit for trucks is 55 and right lane only. Usually when I see a line of backed up traffic it's behind two trucks driving side by side.

Walmart has a very strict hiring process and if you get any sort of ticket or accident, you are fired immediately. They are also some of the highest paid drivers. This is for the OTR road guys, as someone said earlier, they contract almost all of their local work (major distribution hub to same city stores, etc) to other companies

The big company drivers are usually the least experienced though, and don't really know how to handle situations as well.
On I-12 it's usually because the truck driver isn't paying attention and slams into the back of a line of cars or as to hit the ditch to avoid it.
