I know people think this is all just unnecessary hysteria but not having large gatherings right now is the correct call.

The first confirmed patient showed symptoms for over a week. She also has a job where she has been in direct contact with a shite load of people. Many of which are elderly and/or sick in some way. She could absolutely be a patient zero for the state of Louisiana. If you’re under 50 and in good health you have nothing to fear. But you could absolutely pass it on to people more susceptible. Think about who you could potentially come into contact with and how this may affect them.

I'd rather just get it and get it over with instead of hiding somewhere with my head shoved up my arse.
