Just outside shoulder width. I keep thinking I should go wider, but my arms are short enough as it is - I'd barely get it over my head if I go barbell row width.
Should I be at benchpress width grip?
wow.
I bench with my hands at just beyond shoulder and do OHP with my hands just at shoulder.

I have my width just so my arms slide down my sides. Any closer kills my wrists. I agree that CGBP is the best exercise for Triceps with less strain on the shoulders.

I may be poorly choosing my words. It doesn't sound like we're all that different - maybe the width of 1 or 2 fingers at most, on both. I use the outer marks for barbell row, and that's significantly wider than my bench grip.

You lockout strength is related more to you upper back. Try working on some heavy bent over barbell rows and heavy seated cable rows.
Interesting. I do lots of pull-ups but not much in the row department. I'll try to incorporate these in more.

I know people always expound upon the benefits of negatives, but how do yal realistically do them?
I read about how you can handle as much as 50% more than your 1RM in negative applications so you want to use this to your advantage, but how do I feasibly do this without a partner? Do you have to have a partner there to pick the weight off you on something like bench? How would this work for overhead press or squats?
Do you decrease the weight and do the slow negative with explosive positive? I've done these before, but it doesn't seem like it's taking advantage of the increased load handling aspect of the negatives that's supposedly so important.

2 seconds up, 4 seconds down
I broke a plateau using isometrics toward the transition phase. Also 10x10 with strict 90 second breaks.
