Wednesday Night Wrestling Wars Thread: A Broken Face-to-Face Edition

Quarantine-Mania continues to run wild over the wrestling world (and world in general) so both AEW Dynamite & NXT on USA both have no fans at their shows tonight. Dynamite is live while NXT is pre-taped, both have new matches for tonight

and speaking of... AEW officially announced on Monday that the New Orleans episode of Dynamite in May has been relocated away from the Keifer UNO Lakefront Arena

AEW Dynamite tonight is at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Fla. in what has ostensibly become AEW's "home base"

The "Blood & Guts" match (War Games: The Match Beyond in Dusty's original vision, not WWE's new version) that was originally scheduled for tonight has been postponed until a later time (they should take this opportunity to do it at a PPV and give it a real, proper build)

2 of the men involved in B&G... Le Former Champion Chris Jericho & "Broken" Matt Hardy will have a face-to-face confrontation

Tony Schiavone & Cody are supposed to be your announce team tonight... but "The American Nightmare" is also scheduled for a match against Jimmy Havoc during the show (AEW had apparently sent out a drinking game poking fun at some of Cody's talking habits but I can't find the image currently)

For the first time ever... the Mega Campeonato AAA (AAA Mega Championship) will be on the line in AEW as Kenny Omega defends the Mexican company's top belt against the Spanish God Sammy Guevara

The Exalted One has a message for all members of the Dark Order... including G The Tiger Fan



and speaking of The Exalted One... Brodie Lee will make his AEW in-ring debut against... someone... tonight

also... Jake Hager is supposed to be in action as well

Not sure if next week's NXT on USA episode will essentially be what TakeOver: Tampa Bay was going to be since the show was cancelled... perhaps that's what HHH will talk about

Also... still not sure how FWL will be handled since Wrestlemania is being taped today & tomorrow... esp. with both the Undertaker/AJ Styles & "Fiend" Bray Wyatt/John Cena matches being "theatrical-style" matches shot in a warehouse on what amounts to more of a movie set instead of a wrestling ring
