I have a couple,Radar Scope and Weather Bug, and would also suggest eWeatherHD. Have running on my Android. Lots of information and cool radar as well. As a website, Mike's weather page (aka spaghetti models) is awesome too with loads of weather maps and radar images, especially during hurricane season.

Buy RadarScope, learn to use it and it'll be the only thing you really need.

FWIW I'm a complete amateur but if you use it in combination learning from our resident weather geeks you'll be able to understand/spot most scenarios impacting your area.

This. Im offshore and I spotted 2 waterspouts on the Super-Res Velocity Tilt 1 about a mile from our platform yesterday evening. Went outside and there they were. Just picked up some knowledge from the guys here on how to use it.

I use MyRadar too
