Yeah it was four or five days after Katrina before I got shower. We found a water tower where those cruise ships dock. Got a hose hooked up to it and hosed each other down butt naked out on the boardwalk.

It might sound gross but as a last resort we just do #2 in the bowl and #1 in the tank. That should get you a couple of flushes per day.

They tell you before a hurricane to fill up your tub with water, fill pots and buckets with water, etc.

I do all that plus a few 5 gallon cans and a 55 gal drum.
