Anyone here from Chicago area?

Obviously he killed way more than 33 people, probably more like 50 or more, (He admitted 45)

He clearly was making or trying to make gay snuff porn with the Howard pos

Chicago cops were clearly completely incompetent idiots, and basically allowed this to go forward.

He clearly had help and other people were involved, but Chicago has no interest to investigate.

They are clearly covering up additional burial grounds.

After watching this and the white boy Rick documentary in same weekend I will have to pass on any involvement with Chicago or Detroit police departments.

I still don’t fully understand the reluctance to find some of the additional victims.

What do people from the area say

Didn't they tie him to Dean Corll and some guy who ran a ring out of Dallas?

He was politically connected, a pillar of the community, and cops were mostly unfamiliar with the concept of a serial killer. Behavioral and forensic sciences were in their infancy. Even today it's hard to catch these offenders. Baton Rouge had two serial killers running around at the same time, neither of whom were doing anything to cover their tracks, and it still took a long time and a good bit of luck to apprehend them.

I can’t remember, did he show his victims a magic trick involving handcuffs to gain control over them?

Was he the one that kept all the bodies in the walls of his house or something crazy? I get him mixed up with a few others

Plus the fact that it was happening during a time when police and society at large were apathetic toward violence against people on the fringes of society - drug users, homosexuals, transients, etc. and Gacy's targets were typically all three AFAIK.

I think the general consensus would pretty much just be "well that sure is odd that these guys are going missing but I guess that's just a part of life when you're living a deviant lifestyle "

Under the house, crawl space. He even memorized where each body was.

He had a crawl space under his house. Eventually he ran out of room and started dumping bodies in rivers and wooded areas. He got really sloppy towards the end. As long as he killed transients and street kids nobody paid much attention. One of his last victims was a normal teenager from an intact family who went to see him about a job interview. His family reported him missing and that led to Gacy's eventual capture.

Gotcha. It was weird hearing those old clips talking about "Homosexual child prostitution rings" as they hadn't become quite PC yet.

Check out that podcast, there was a lot of shite going on. Seems like having political connections has always helped in covering pedo rings.. they even had their own island
