Watched a couple of recent WWE promos

shite has changed so much since the late 90's.

Instead of creative storylines, that were occasionnally ridiculous but insanley funny and interesting to watch... see Mae Young giving birth to a hand, Mr Socko, the dark wedding...

Now it's all about being as real as possible. Breaking that 4th wall with the viewers, saying that the other guy isn't over enough to be awarded the championship, etc.

During the Attitude era we all knew it was scripted of course, but with any show or movie we want to be able to suspend belief for a couple hours to be entertained.

Not everything has to be so smarty.
