Loved seeing the MWD's in Iraq.
Sometimes Iraqi soldiers / police tried to antagonize the dogs. Iraqis don't like dogs. Put a boot up their arse every time. One time an Iraqi was too close and trying that garbage. Handler was busy with something else so I thumped the Iraqi in the chest with my rifle barrel and introduced him to American profanity. He got the message. Then I had our terp explain that the dog would be protected as viciously as we'd protect any other American in our formation.
The Iraqis we worked with never could accept, appreciate, and understand how useful the MWD's are.
