Which makes me curious, how high is the loss from theft compared to the loss due to customers not wanting to wait for items/choosing different stores that don't have these barriers. Clearly they've done their homework, but find it hard to believe they lose more to people stealing than they do by enacting these processes.

The lady that cuts my hair works at Wal Greens during the week. She says that the theft is unreal and that Wal Greens refuses to do anything g to stop it.

She said there is a full display of some product that gets stolen every single week. The entire display. It gets delivered on Tuesday and gets stolen that afternoon. Every.single.week. Nothing is done to stop it. Wal Greens Corporate won’t let them move it further from the door. The police won’t agree to wait for the thieves even though they’re pretty much on a weekly schedule.
