Any tips for a leaking car trunk?
It depends. How’s it leaking? Is water pooling or is it just wet? Has it ever been involved in a collision/repaired? Does it get wet when sitting or more when driving? There’s a lot of factors.

First thing I would try- open the trunk and run water (very low pressure) outside of the weatherstrip and just below the back glass. Check for drips.
Report back.

I used to have a G37 where my passenger side floorboard would get damp everytime it rained. I tried everything including cleaning sunroof drain to no avail. I waited until it was dry and traded in. That's my best advice

Bleach
dont do this. The chance of it pouring back inside and on your interior is HIGH.

There are holes at the bottom of the doors to allow water to drain. Sometimes they get clogged up and you need to clear them with a small tool (screwdriver or pick).

so just run air compressor at low pressure and this should do the trick?

Go to a tire repair shop and get one of the techs to blow your drain holes out with high pressure air, should do the trick. There should be one on each side.

I’m really interested to know, what year model Tahoes have water intrusion problems in the doors? The sunroof drain clogs make sense, but not the doors. I am looking at buying a low-mileage 2008 Yukon XL as an extra family car, but I definitely don’t want to be dealing with water leaks.

Oddly enough, I’ve always had a sunroof on my cars and the only one that ever leaked was a 2-year-old Chevy. *sigh*

yep. or you can buy a can of compressed air. the straw will fit in the drain hole. test with water after. you should see water leaking under the vehicle if they're clear.

a lot of this has to do with the conditions you drive in. if you're using the vehicle in dusty areas- dirt roads, gravel roads, constructions sites, etc.

it happens to all vehicles with sunroofs eventually. it's very common.

Had same problem with the last gen Tahoe. Both back doors filled up with water. Rear liftgate leaked from the top, too, as the weatherstripping came unglued. Bought a replacement, but was too lazy to change it, before dumping the truck onto a dealer.

Third brake light is leaking more than likely for the headliner to be wet, check to make sure the drain holes in your door aren't clogged. I know you say it drains from the doors, but still could be something blocking it to drain like it is supposed to.

The sunroof leak isn’t that big of a deal. I’m more interested to know about the doors.

Check the boot around the wiring harness leading to that third brake light.

They don't try to stop the water from getting into the sunroof anymore. It drains thru various routes and probably impacted your door. A good body shop can fix it. You probably get leaves where you park.
