I appreciate it. It’s for you an others who like my models that I post them as soon as I’m done with one.
My question is. When do you find time to eat and sleep??

Looks great as always but your wing decals seem to be sticking out. It's that a revel kit
No. It’s a Tamiya kit. I think it’s one of their earlier ones.

Sorry for a stupid question, but where do you put all the amazing finished products?
Posted on 11/9/25 at 9:18 pm to Darth_Vader
Yeah, wild—it's an optical illusion or something. Looks better close up.

I want to see your build an another Elefant tank destroyer.
The Ferdinand/Elefant may have been the most successful mass-produced tank destroyer employed during the war in kills per loss, reaching an average claimed ratio of approximately 10:1. During the Battle of Kursk, sPzJgrAbt 653 claimed to have knocked out 320 enemy tanks, for the loss of 13 Ferdinands.

I shall only spend at most one to one and a half days a week working on a model. I started this one yesterday morning about 8:00 AM and worked on it while watching football until about 5:00 PM when we had to leave for my daughter’s cheer competition. We don’t get back until almost 1:00 AM, so we skipped church this morning. That meant instead of getting to my model desk about 1:00 PM, as is the norm on Sunday, I started work about 9:30 AM. By about 4:00 PM I was done. So, all in on this build was about 15-16 hours, give or take
But it was a fairly simple build. I’d say on average it takes closer to 30-40 hours on a more detailed build like these for example…
Builds like these take longer.

My model room, actually my son’s old bedroom, is where I build and display them.
Build them here…
Display them here…

Because I see it as spamming the board. No one gives a shite about this dude’s toy collection.
Personally I enjoy these posts.
Why be so negative?

I’ll have to check, but I may have one in my stash. I do want to to build another one, it’s been probably 2-3 years since I built one.

But you are going to need a bigger boat! I would love to see you get into ships, I know it's not your thing.

I do have two battleships in my stash. One is a tiny USS South Dakota and the other is a WWI era German dreadnaught thats pretty big. I’ll get around to them at some point. I did built a post-war American aircraft carrier last year for a friend. Hated the kit, it’s an either Revel or Monogram, almost garbage. Did the best I could with it.

I do love old warships, particularly battleships. I need to study up on how to detail and weather them.
