I know you're being sarcastic, but seriously check into a new medicine called sitavig. It's a buccal tablet that works quicker than valtrex.

I get "cold sores" on my lip about once a year and this last time I hit it with some Bragg's ACV at the first tingle. No breakout, worked great.

Call your doctor and get a prescription for Zovirax Cream. This is an antiviral that is FDA approved to specifically treat HSV 1 which is the herpes strain responsible for cold sores. Start applying at the first sign of a cold sore as you did with Abreva and you probably won't even get the cold sore.

I hope everyone know that everyone has the herpes virus but it is dormant in most people. So those people making fun of people that get cold sores be prepared for one to pop up out of the blue one day.
