Obama won't risk it. Now that the Russians are calling the shots in Syria, we're done there. He will complain and bitch some, but everyone, including the Russians, knows we're not going to do anything. As for our rebel allies in Syria, they're fricked.

Actually, I think what will happen is we stop all US flights in Syrian airspace. I know they asked us to stop and we "publicly" refused. But that will happen is quietly there just won't be any further US flights over Syrian airspace going forward. That's why I said our allies are fricked. All that US air support is gone.

Honestly the best thing to do for these Arab middle eastern countries is push for each one to have a strong dictator/regime. That stabilizes the situation and keeps these people in check.
