The problem is that the Fed refuses to do its job and fix that issue. It is a whole lot harder to do that just cutting people off. If they do their jobs, that problem would be greatly curtailed.

I used to get 30 Quaaludes by prescription for 10.56 dollars. Once a month. IIRCC. From 1977 till they were banned in the US. I still had ludes into the late 80,s.


They need to give opioids to the ones that need them. Fortunately my Doctor is not scared of the DEA. He recently gave me two ten day rounds of Percocet. Didn’t need most of the second round. Saving them in case I need them. I dislike opiates.
