Earlier today, my wife got some unsolicited text messages from a new number. Texter expresses secret affection, wants to know if it's mutual. Unwilling to give a name, but wants her to guess initials to verify feelings... blah fricken blah... Anyway, I'm actually home and decided to bite. This person knows her maiden and current names, number of children etc. But....
Never asks to click a link, go to any site, or to reveal any information whatsoever.
I think this info may have come from facebook? What say you?

UPDATE: Out of nowhere my wife gets a call from LPSO. Another woman reported this identical behavior to the sheriff's office, the other woman is an acquaintance of ours. Turns out, my wife is 1 of 6 women being stalked and harassed by this prick. List includes his wife's bff, his neighbors wife... You get it. Baw, if you are reading this... get some bail money ready for tomorrow morning. If you didn't have a sweet wife and children you'd be room temp by now. One of the women you harassed has a violent husband and I just talked him out of heading your way. Your poor kids man wtf.

That number is out of Baker, LA and is registered as a landline. I do know there are aps out there that can use any number to text from. I would just ignore it.
