First year teachers in Louisiana with a bachelors make about $22.50 an hour after taxes, retirement, health insurance. 7 hours of teaching and 2 hours of lesson planning/grading papers a day for 45 hours a week. Not including weekend work.

Crab legs and lobster tail are not worth the work it takes to eat them if they are still in the shell/tail.
