Nola Uber drivers are starting to piss me off. I get it, you are paid hourly by your company and that sucks because it's not supposed to be like that but I'm not going to tip you cash because that defeats the point of Uber.

I ride Uber all the time. In Nashville mostly, but also in places like Chicago where I was all weekend. Never had any driver ask for a tip or hint they needed a tip.

Ever. Not once.

I don't doubt it. That's just the problem with uber. You are dealing with non professional people off of Craigslist.

If they ask for a tip, rate them low. They will soon be fired and replaced.

Don't engage with TigerWise.

He's a smelly cab driver and is bitter about Uber and Lyft supplying a superior product.

It appears that you in fact don't get it.

Uber drivers don't make any set wage by the company, they get 80% of the fares they bring in.

No. I do get it. I understand Uber.

I am telling you that three times the uber drivers in Nola, not nashville, Atlanta, BR, etc etc(all places I have taken Uber) have told me their employers the ones that own these black limousines and SUVs keep the fares from uber and they get paid hourly.

Yup. And I've taken uber in many places as well and it has never happened to me, except in New Orleans.

Interesting

Did you report them? They will get kicked off of Uber.

There's absolutely no proof that Uber isn't responsible for the Sydney situation. If that investigating doesn't start and end with Uber's top brass, it will be a miscarriage of justice.

I normally don't, but the guy I had last night was really laying it on thick so I gave a 1 star and the reason why. I've yet to have an Uber that wasn't employed by a limousine company in Nola and I would bet im not the only one.

You got no one to blame but yourself and your fellow citizens for voting in shite public servants year after year. The city council approved the garbage uber bill that basically means yall don't have uber.

Interesting. I've never gotten someone like that in ATL and I take uber often. Then again, I've never gotten a gaudy limo or SUV, as most of the time it's for less than 4 people so the people that pick us up are just in their normal vehicle that they own.

he's not saying you're getting picked up in a limo. The limo company is basically acting as 1 big uber driver, getting the fares, and paying the actual uber drivers hourly. The uber drivers are using their own vehicle, etc, like normal uber drivers.

t's not really "payment", they just demand drugs from you. If you don't provide them drugs, they'll usually beat you up or sometimes rape you. It happens on 35-45% of all Uber rides.

That's been my experience.
