Look, not sure why you're buttsore.
Buttsore? You have no idea how honored I feel after having the privilege of being spoken to by someone as smart and witty as you.

I replied to a comment some say this is capitalism. But now, it's monopolistic.
Now I’m curious who exactly says one or two companies having the ability to completely dominate an industry, or a select few companies working together to completely dominate multiple industries, is capitalism. Please, your excellency, educate me.

I respond with how I've seen 10's of millions defy the monopoly. Since then - in classic OT style - those claims just go on as lore.
So you saw 10s of millions do something, but then it didn’t really happen? Again, obviously this is so far above my ability to comprehend. I’m just thankful you’re acknowledging my existence.

No real discussion. Guys here say it so others have to upvote it and tell a friend.
When someone as smart and witty as you starts posting in a thread, what discussion is there to be had? We’re all just waiting for you to tell us the right way to think about things.

So, Open My Eyes, Sir. It's an open forum.
Not possible. You’re already the smartest and wittiest person in the world.

Trying to wade through your post a bit. But one question I see is there are only 2 platforms? People don't have a choice to use others? Like Parler? The others mentioned here for the past few months during the Big Boycott?
As a parallel, you can choose to buy locally. But do you personally use Amazon, Walmart or big box?

Again, it’s such an honor to have someone of your wit and intellect reading my posts.

Awww man. You mean that in addition to just not being smart enough to understand how you can see millions of people doing something that apparently never happened, my intelligence level prevents me from accessing the versions of the App Stores where Parler is still available? Or the secret internet where Parler’s website wasn’t shutdown for over a month? I think I liked it better when I was just completely oblivious to how unfair life is for us not smart people.

Does being as smart as you also allow you to live in areas where Walmart and Home Depot can work with a building access provider to completely prevent you from entering Hometown Jill’s Supermarket and Local Bob’s Hardware Store? Where is this utopia?

Good, government needs to leave private companies alone as long as they are not breaking laws.
If you the public don't like what a private company is legally doing, for fricks sakes stop using that company.
Twitter is technically a public company, and also receives 230 protection amongst others from another govt that it shouldn’t.
Many of these companies were also allowed to buy out competition to help internet flourish, and are now taking advantage of that with politics they support and that supports them as well as by colluding to force out competition and diversity of thought.
If Apple, Google, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, and Twitter to a smaller extent don’t like you how are you going to advertise, sale apps, host and run a website, and so on to compete with those that aren’t cancelled by them. That’s only free market to those who believe Obamacare’s market place is an example of a free market.
They are too big to need any type of govt protection. They need to be broken up or forced to sell off parts, but again they definitely shouldn’t be protected or have govt contracts. They basically print their own money using stock to make purchases. They shutdown social media of the standing President of the US and a competing social media company even though Facebook was used more by people breaching capital. I doubt they would have done so if Georgia senate races hadn’t both been won by Democrats. It wasn’t about capital, but Democrats getting both houses and Presidency and being unchecked.
Who majorly funded and/or founded ARPANET, NSFNET, Merit Network (with a state), DARPA, CSNET, ESNET, FIXes, IETF, IANA, ICANN, DNS, ARIN, and other key parts and developers of the internet?
It wasn’t Jack, Mark, Tim, or whoever running Google/Alphabet now. They shouldn’t have that much power over internet now to effectively cancel based on politics.
It’s not like they have ethical high ground or best interests of country. Apple is as far up China’s arse as Tim usually gets it himself.
