Someone told me they saw some suspicious people wearing black masks sitting in a car at a Dollar General in Baton Rouge yesterday morning as well.
They were so unnerved that this person didn’t go inside but decided to leave and call police to report what they saw.
Related to the Gentilly incident?

Nola is making a solid run at 250 murders. The current tally is 243.
An interesting note is that the city jumped out to an early ~50 point lead over last year, and it has maintained that lead consistently throughout this year. The spread has been between 43 and 50 ahead of schedule all year.
Of course, nola.com changed the rules mid-year and dickered the numbers. With the old rule set the current tally would be ~256.
