According to secretservice.gov the Speaker does not get agents unless by executive order.

Helena Moreno has a security detail and she’s the city council president for the city of New Orleans which is a hell of a lot less important than the speaker of the house.
I’m not saying they get the secret service but they have to have some kind of security detail it would be crazy not to.

Why should any politician under the President and Vice President have security detail?
