I was in 2nd grade in 1979 and there must have been a decent amount of buzz leading up to the Dukes of Hazzard. I clearly remember my classmate Shane asking our classmate Tad if he was going to watch the series premiere. And Tad said "Oh yeah, wouldn't miss it."

I did have a Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders poster that was a hand-me-down from my uncle. From the '70s, I believe.
ETA: This one (1978)

Did anybody have worse luck than David Banner?
wasn't it Bruce Banner?
David Banner is a rapper from Jackson MS.
He had creative lyrics like, "Real girls get down on the flo', on the flo'
Real girls get down on the flo', on the flo' Like a pimp!"

I hated Love Boat.
I wasn't a big fan of The Love Boat. But I'm sure I threw my hands under the covers more than once thinking about Julie.
But then again, back in those days, it didn't take much for me to put my hands under the covers.

My guilty pleasure as a child was my parents letting me stay up late every Sunday night to watch Vegas.

Had that one too, but it was never my favorite.
I had a different and much better Cowboys Cheerleaders than that one.
I hated the Cowboys. My mom always gave me the business about that poster.

For me, it was the female guests all in bikinis like the Landers twins and others I looked forward to in addition to Julie.

I also had the young short chick from Dallas. Charlene Tilton or something like that. She married country singer Johnny Lee.

I bet Bernie Koppel and Ted Lang got into some coke fueled orgies back then

I hadn't seen that one back then. That's a good one.

What was that movie when Kristy McNichol got fricked in a rowboat? Think that was the first time I cranked it

I moved to Las Vegas in 81. My dad was on the Thunderbirds. We got a lot of passes and invitations to whatever was going on the time. I went to see them film a seen of Vegas. Dan Tanna drove up in his mustang to investigate a murder. The girl playing the dead prostitue was Dale Bozzio, lead singer of Missing Persons.
I don't recall for certain, but I'm sure my hands went under the covers that night too.
