When I did buy them though, the lady told me to fill my bath tub up and stand in it for a few minutes.
That is stupid advice from a sales person. I would fire someone that told a customer that. sure you can do that if its a older pair you can return them and get the right size. But why in the frick would a sales person tell you that when you can't just get fitted properly.

I probably have 12 pairs of boots in my closet right now and if you know how to pick out a pair that actually fits correctly you shouldn't have to do anything aside from wear them. Anything else is just overkill.
That goes for exotics to normal cowhide. I've never done anything but just wear them around. It takes a week or two normally for mine to be broken in. And that's walking around a good bit, not sitting in a chair at an office or in your house all day.

Buy better boots. I have learned my lesson over the years, cheap boots just aren't worth the fight especially if they don't fit right when new.
I have a pair of Lucchese's that I got about a month ago that fit fine, but aren't broken in and are uncomfortable as frick because they run skinnier than all other brands because they're exotics stretch. My rubber soled Ariat's from high school (so, seven years old) are my most comfortable pair of boots I own. That includes a pair of full custom boots I own.

I have 2 pair of lucchese's. One calf and one ostrich. Neither of them needed any breaking in and were comfortable AF since day 1. Sounds like you don't know how boots are supposed to fit. Nothing wrong with that but it can be an expensive mistake.
ETA: just realized who I was talking to. How is the crazy Facebook chick? She messaged me about 3 months after that thread and the crazy was oozing from her message.

I worked at Cavender's for four years throughout high school and college, I know how boots fit are supposed to fit haha. Every pair of boots I've bought has been uncomfortable until I break them in for a week or so then they're fine. These will be no different.

No clue. She started spamming me like crazy when she saw the thread and then threatened to sue me for posting her photos on here. Obviously nothing ever came of it and I blocked her number after she did that. One of my friends ran into her at a concert a month or two ago though and said she had gained 20 pounds or more, so at least she didn't drop 40 and get hot haha.

Damn she was on the edge of being pretty hot if she would have dropped a little weight as long as those tits didn't shrink. But she definitely couldn't afford to add any more pounds. She had to be wild in the sack

Yeah, I always though if she dropped 20-30 she would probably be a damn solid looker. I am 100 percent a tit guy, so that explains that
Crazy as shite though. I should have known something was wrong when she dated a guy younger than her (me).

That was a fun thread. I only wish she would have joined and went off the deep end with some solid posts
