The Mississippi River’s Great Flood of 2011 drove Vicksburg’s Ivera Kelly out of her home in Kings community for eight weeks. This time, she won’t be back.
Vicksburg officials are preparing for massive flooding as the river there is set to crest in mid-January. Water levels are expected to rise to just 3 feet lower than they did in 2011.

Major flooding across America's heartland will be around for weeks to come as the Mississippi River surges south.
The deadly onslaught of rising waters and storms has killed more than two dozen people in Missouri and Illinois.
If the midwest get another big round of rain then it could rival 2011, and if it doesn't alteast we can have a place for the thousands of threads about if the ORCC will hold. So I humbly request that Chicken and the admins bring back The FLOOD BOARD!

I don't think it will be as bad as 2011.

So the article says its not as bad as 2011.
When there was no flooding in LA because the spillways worked.
Nothing to see here

As long there isn't another major rain event then no, but if there is then it could.

Except the stupidity of the TD posters.
