I'm just not happy in a 9 to 5. I got accepted in to West Point when I was in high school, but decided against it and I think that was a mistake. I also hate being stuck on the Northshore where I am constantly bored out of my mind.

I feel like you have been watching too many recruiting videos. Why at 25 would you want your freedom taken away from you. You are single, move somewhere away from the northshore and get a good job.

lol whattttt

Officers sometimes have to wait a while but Officer and Enlisted are still getting promoted. Ive never seen a hold on promotions. Force shaping is getting rid of people, not stopping promoting them.

The AF is the hardest to get prompted in the enlisted ranks of the services. But I still made E-5 in 4 years.

But the O side from 0-1 to 3 is the same as everyone else.

I am a comm troop.

Thanks for helping me understand a little more. And thank you for your service.

I will say this, the AF has the best bases and golf courses! Spent quite a bit of time on Andrew's golf course while we were at Pax.

I grew up outside dc and pray i never get stationed there. I would actually just commute from Nova and not live near the base.

Its not that easy. Unless you work for an American company over there. A German company won't hire you unless you are fluent in German. Its the law.
