Rogan straight up states why at the end...it's because unlike Mencia, she seems to be generally liked within the community. Now...that may get her some rope here with them...but it won't forever. And, it won't for all comedians.

But Mencia was generally hated on the circuit, and not just for being successful. Not only would he rip stuff on stage, but would do it with other comedians in the audience, essentially daring them to call him out...which they eventually did.

I'm actually not familiar with Amy Schumer and haven't seen wither her show or stand up, so I have no clue. I was actually finishing up Rogan's podcast with Hannibal just this morning, so his take on her was fresh in my mind. I actually didn't find him to be all that soft. I mean, he could have literally never even brought it up, and considering Burress wanted no part of it (his parts were cut out for the Youtube link, but not much as he mostly sat there and let Rogan talk and had virtually nothing to say about it the whole time) he could have talked for a couple minutes and moved on. Instead, it was the top for 20+ minutes in the interview.
