I thought the Chihuly thing would be stupid, but was glad I went. Not sure if it was temporary or permanent...they had some crazy butterly exhibit when I was there that was pretty cool.

Racist! Its Piewstiwa Peak or something now, they changed it because squaw means something like "indian whore" IIRC!

Street sign still says Squaw peak

Change it to something I can easily pronounce (like whore mountain) and I'll stop calling it squaw peak

Nurse, I'm staying at the ridge on Sedona golf resort. Is that a nice place or should I cancel and go somewhere else?

I know a bunch of those people from high school. Seriously, people should not own houses like that. One of those houses is owned by the former ambassador to India and he has 5 infinity pools. Who needs that many infinity pools?

I went to Chaparral so must of my school lived in houses like those. I grew up at Scottsdale and Shea, my house backed up to Scottsdale Bible, so I was a poor!

there was a thread on the Food and Drink board years back about eating in Sedona and a few folks threw in other suggestions as well:

I stayed with a friend at the golf resort before. It was nice. She used her timeshare points for it.

Only thing is that it is in Oak Creek village....takes about 15-20 minutes to get to main Sedona area due to slow speed limits and a ton of round abouts

Still a nice area though

ETA: if we are talking about the same place
