I never answer calls from numbers I don't know, and this scam number blocking app called Mr. Number does a great job of blocking many of them on my android phone.
I actually got a voice mail one day after I didn't answer a call. It was some filthy Paki telling me he was from the IRS and that I had back taxes that I needed to pay immediately or I would be arrested.
It's mind-boggling how people can fall for this shite.
