the French Quarter didn’t flood for Katrina.

Oh really?

My brother, now passed, departed in Baton Rouge three days after Coach Dietzel, had a house on Rampart Street that flooded. He was a petroleum engineer ... got his masters and PhD from Texas but like him and another brother they got their engineering degrees from The Citadel and lived in NOLA.

I could swear when we went to the FQ after Katrina that parts of it were flooded.

Then there was one of my troops, one of the Adams brothers, they were metairie coonasses but their Moma ended up over in Treme on Roman .... and I could swear when I was there visiting with Rick they told me the FQ flooded.

But I mean, who knows .... you dumb fricking shithook.

It all just depended on where you were and since I was being rhetorical and not trying to be a Brian Williams, who is probably your hero, you you can kiss my retard arse frickwad.

And yeah ... I know NOLA. My first trip there was in 69 in HS. In 73 I got in a fight with a baseball player from Tulane at the old Downtowner. Beat his arse half to death because his drunk arse slapped my girlfriend. Spent three nights in the clink down there until my brothers found out what happened and came and bailed me out.

I banged out more local chicks at Pontchartrain Beach in the 70s than Doans had little green pills.

I remember when Ernie Morial was elected the first black mayor and we were all like, wtf, that dude ain't blacl, he's mulatto .... he's got more white in him than (my youngest brother - or that was the joke in our family - Dad didn't apppreciate that though.).

I was there when Al Hirt got hit in the face (lip actually) with the brick bat somebody threw. It was damn near like the JFK assassination at the time .... you were probably a snot nosed little wet behind the ears genuine retwrd punk arse then, if you were even born.

So I get your propensity to want to defend the place where you were most likely conceived during Mardi Gras by some out of town drunk fella ... but have a sense of humor and admit the place has a smell problem.

And William's lied his arse off. The flooding pretty much ended at Canal .... BUT it went up Bourbon a block or two.

Retard .... lulz.

I don’t think any of that is a “weird“ smell in the FQ.

Now lemon scent, and/or Fabreeze, would totally be weird out there

But why did Katrina flood in Mardi Gras colors?

That’s just wrong.

Not really the hero that we want or particularly need, but the one that we deserve for the shitshow that is the o.t. tonight.

Well it didnt flood for Katrina in the real world. Maybe it did it in the matrix where you reside.
