That's climate change/global warming. It's causing shifts in the jet stream. Parts of the country are hotter than along long time ago and parts of the country are seeing much colder winters. We are seeing more deviations out of the mean.
At least that is the bill of goods I've been sold and I believe things are changing. As long as the new Madrid fault doesn't rupture I'll be good and as long as the Yellowstone supervolcano doesn't erupt humans will adapt.

With that said do you believe that man is causing changes to the jet stream, or is a natural shift as the Earth naturally changes its weather patterns over time due to variations with the sun, orbit, and tilt, or the earth is impacted by volcanic activity or an asteroid strike?

Yep. I can put on enough clothes to stay warm but I can't get naked enough to stay cool.

It’s pretty chilly outside this morning. Good weather for a fedora with safari flaps.

This all can be fixed with with more taxes and less freedoms. Write your senator.

Indian Outlaw Tim McGraw or The Blind Side Tim McGraw?
Looked it up on wikipedia b/c of this thread. Didn't know he grew up in Louisiana. I got him mixed up with Sammy Cershaw or some other singer.
I heard McGraw built a place on False River, then sold it after a few years to one of his early producers. So I used to think the line "where the peaceful river flows" was about Louisiana. That song might be 25 years old by now.

His dad was Tug McGraw, a pretty long term baseball player in the majors.
