All pictures of Woodstock set off my disgust circuits.
The music was great.
The social moment was, at a minimum, profoundly impactful.
But the filth!
The muck and the trash and just knowing there were no bathrooms or sinks or showers! Imagine the smell!
I don’t even want to think about that filthy fricking blanket those people wrapped themselves with!

When people go on about the cultural significance of this one concert, they tend to lose me, but 50 years later, and I have no memory of ever reading or hearing anything , anecdotal or not, about any particular ugliness.
Sure there was rampant drug use and fornication, but nothing about any fights or any other kind of violence, and that with, I'm sure the number today is about a million attendees.
There was of course the bad acid making it's rounds, but it was their trip so be my guest.
