Yeah it's really not. BSL is great. I grew up there. Hope to move back home at some point. Oxford is basically an island in North Mississippi. Oasis. People get sucked in because it's nice while being isolated. The term velvet ditch was started by writers who would move to Oxford to write a book and end up staying for years because they get wrapped up in the town.

Tunica was known as Sugar Ditch, which was a churched-up way of saying raw sewage ditch.
