I think I was fortunate as a child to be surrounded by women because I have found it to be pretty damned delightful listening to women....they know some shite and have some insight that most men simply miss. This character flaw in me has allowed me to spend 37 years and counting in the company of the best friend a person could ever ask for who just so happens to also be pretty damned sexy.....as the old country song says "add it all up and its a deadly combination". If a woman in your life is annoying it could be that she is an annoying person....if you are annoyed by the majority of half the human population there is a good shot that you are the problem....

I am curious...these threads are common here and men talk about this sort of shite a lot. I always ask "your daughter is a female....does she do whatever it is you are annoyed by". The answer is almost always "not to the extent of her mama....my daughter and I are very close" or something to the effect. There is the problem....you are attached to your daughters in ways you will never be attached to another person except your sons...so you make the extra effort to listen and communicate with them....try it on your wife or girlfriend....you may be amazed at the outcome....and at least you will know its them and not you being annoying....

Men want ingredients, cook times and temperatures and any helpful tips.

Women want you to think about how yogurt makes you feel. Then how you feel without yogurt. Then a yogurt memory. Maybe a story about drinkable yogurt. Actually making yogurt is an afterthought.
