So I have a good friend that was a combat medic in the army. He served in Iraq and I’m pretty sure was at the battle of Fallujah. He’s an awesome dude and a great husband and dad. He rarely talks about his service, when he does it’s usually very vague, and you can see the pain in his eyes. I know he’s seen shite.
When he talks about the leftist shite that’s going on in this country, it almost brings me to tears. Here’s a man that left part of his soul in the sand in the name of his country seeing that country lose its principles. I fear he feels like it’s a waste, and no soldier should ever go through that.
God damn these people.
I served in the Marines for four years and played in the sandbox for six months in 2003..my unit was one of the first ones to cross the LOD. I used to get filled with pride when I talked about my time in but now when my son says he wants to go I am not sure what to tell him anymore. It is unfortunate because I have many family members serving as we speak. Let's not even talk about when Sleepy Joe said COVID killed more people than WW2 did
