UPDATE: light is back up and running!
Left turn signal has been added for those turning left onto E Boyd from Burbank in either direction. No left turn signal installed for E Boyders turning onto Burbank from what I can see, so we'll see how that goes.

Turning lane is for traffic traveling on Burbank.

I tried to take Burbank from Nicholson around 3:45 this afternoon and traffic was stopped near the Co-op Bookstore. Fire truck passed us with sirens on, so I turned around and went back to Nicholson. Anyone know what happened? Re-installed light caused another wreck?

They didn't add a turning lane on Boyd. There are turning lanes on Burbank (where they have now added a turning signal).
Some people were suggesting that they add a turn to the light cycle for the Boyd people turning left onto Burbank so less collisions happen, but it looks like they aren't doing that.

One thing I don't understand at all is there has never been a person studying the intersection once before or after the light was taken out.
All it would have taken was 30 minutes sitting out there to know the cause of all the wrecks and all the frick ups are the people trying to turn left at the stop signs. They could put up no left turns there and enforce it for a week or so with a cop sitting there then the problem is solved. However this is the DOTD we are talking about. Now E. Boyd is going to back up to highland again and frick traffic up on Highland.
