They'll definitely be asking for birth certificates when she signs him up for travel ball.

This is why we should just let the Covid wipe us out. Stupid arse people everywhere.
quote:
A 5-year-old boy from Utah who was caught driving his parents' car to California to go buy a Lamborghini met some of his favorite stars, including Jamie Foxx and Shaquille O'Neal.
Adrian Zamarripa and his parents were flown to Los Angeles by RD Whittington, a celebrity car broker who owns the brand Wire Only, to check out some luxury vehicles, according to a video captured by TMZ.
Adrian was greeted by Whittington, who told him, “I’ll give you a private tour my man,” as the broker led him around several luxury cars.
As Whittington showed Adrian how to rev a car's engine, Adrian’s face lit up as he laughed, smiled and high-fived Whittington.
The little boy was able to rev the engines of a Ferrari, a Hummer and several other brand cars. Whittington even surprised Adrian with a FaceTime session with Lil Pump.
quote:
The family's trip comes a little over a week after Adrian was pulled over by a Utah Highway Patrol trooper on May 4 after telling the trooper he had gotten into an argument with his mother, who had told him she would not buy him a Lamborghini.
quote:
Neves, who owns a mobile phone company, told NBC affiliate KSL he was inspired by Adrian’s initiative and wanted to cheer the boy up after the incident.
“He had the courage to just go after what he wanted, you know?” Neves said. “He didn’t have the skillset, let alone the size to drive a vehicle, and he figured it out.”
I would have been whipped if I tried something like that. Yes, I knew how to turn the key, and yes, I knew one pedal was to go, and one pedal was to stop. I also knew that if I turned the steering wheel left, I would go left, and if I turned it right, it would go right. I also wasn't a 12 year old posing as a five year old. This story reeks of BS, but this is America. Of course, I didn't drive until I was 21; this was largely due to a car wreck at seven that landed me in ICU for eight months (I was scared to drive, ZFG). I'm not that old, but there is no way that this would have flown in my household.

It was weird; a drunk driver T-boned us from the driver's side. Unfortunately, it killed the driver, but the other two got out unscathed. I was sitting behind the driver. I'm happy for the other two, but survivor's guilt is no joke. I had lost something before we left, and held us up for about five minutes; that does not escape your mind. Luckily, I didn't sustain head injuries, but almost everything else was injured, lots of broken bones, burns and major internal injuries. Because I was in a different state from my family at the particular time, I didn't see my parents or family for several months, and when I did see them they didn't stay long. Just a crappy situation all around.
I suppose the major reason I was so afraid to drive was that I didn't want to be responsible for hurting another person because I made a mistake.
