I really want to wakeboard/ski on Sunday, but there is the chance that she'll be exhausted... I don't want to force her to do anything. But then I would have waited around all weekend only to not get to do what I want.

I'd just give her a heads up about Denver and say that y'all can do the "birthday party" next weekend.

Bleu, she can't help she has to work. I think you should see if Sunday works out. If not, just do it the next weekend or do something else together. You are in a relationship. Not really cool to just take off when things don't go just like you want them to. That is why relationships work...give-and-take. I think it will look like you are abandoning her if you just take off.
