So how many satellites are not Elon’s, ya think, Butthead?
I was joking. I was using an alternative meaning of frequency. Frequency means something that happens on a regular occurrence or in my basis for the pun are the frequency of radio wavelengths used in communications between two locations.
There are some nut jobs out there that think 5g wavelengths are killing us or spying on us. So I was making a joke.
But to answer your question there are thousands of satellites orbiting the planet. Elon’s are now more of a sour subject because of the low orbit and the issues they cause with telescopes.

Musk's Starlink.
How rare or often does it cross the sky like that?

Heavens above is a great website for information on what you’re looking at (and where to look if you aren’t familiar with the practice of tracking/watching/finding iridium flares)
Are Iridium flares still a thing?

Elon is out here landing rockets on boats around here. We 100% thought that we were being invaded the first time we saw it. Now, it is routine.
