beautiful place, people are friendly as can be, albeit super intimidated by their dictatorship,
But I would add that their equipment and infrastructure are sadly lacking. They had actually cut a bus up and turned the body into a trailer and were pulling it with a tractor type vehicle.

Cuba could've been solved a long time ago, but you pubs and dems didn't want to lift the embargo. So be it.
Also, poli board. Keep trash politics out of the trash forum.

Cuban and Venezuelan resources are great. NOLA went all in on tourism and entertainment to become a shithole. That is not an actual good business model and highly dependent on disposable income. While trade, manufacturing and natural resources sustain economies.
Forget what the pundits say, we can supply all of what the US actually needs from Venezuelan oil within 6 months of work and it will be less expensive than Canadian. Now for exports to elsewhere, the Upgraders need to be repaired. None of them have been operational for at least a few years.
Forget numb nuts like Peter Zeihan who knows ZERO about oil.

Gaza being run by Hamas...is "naive"
Bc there is little difference between Gazans and Hamas. Remove Hamas and let those people vote for new leaders. They’d vote for Hamas again.

Yeah. The majority of the folks in Gaza don’t want to turn into some sort sort thriving place. They want Islamic fundamentalism.
Venezuela could turn around but it would take a while.
