It's not candy or corn. It's a bane on society and should be illegal to produce

Find the large roasted, salted (Virginia) peanuts in the can and mix with candy corn in a bowl. Ratio of 50/50 is fine. 70% nuts might be better. Your choice. Taste just like payday candy bars. Keep a bowl far enough from you that you must get up and walk over to them and consume them a small handful at a time.

You'll get plenty of exercise just walking back and forth to the bowl over the course of the night.

The perfect exercise food.

Candy corn tastes like honey, with which it is made.

Apple, Apple Pie, and Candy Apple flavors are sometimes available in the Fall at Walgreens. Excellent.

But the heroin of candy is FRUIT FLAVORED candy corn. That stuff is so good and addictive that if you could you'd just inject it straight into a vein. I found it on a shelf in Walgreens a couple years ago and ended up buying an entire case of 24 bags.

Loved it as a kid. Had a few the other day out of a little bag my son got at school and thought they were still ok. Wouldn't go eat a handful or anything though.

The candy corn made with honey, yes!!! I try to avoid it though. Not good with hypoglycemia.

...but I like raisins

Back in the early 90s I was climbing in Nepal with one of my friends, we were there early in the season to scout some new lines. We were staying in a Sherpa shack above the snowline at about 13,000 feet while we worked the routes. We had brought about 15 pounds of homemade trail mix with us, )mixed nuts, M&Ms and raisins) in a bunch of gallon zip locks. We got back to the shack after 16 hours of fixing ropes and after firing up the stove to melt snow to drink I grabbed the bag we had been eating out of in the shelter. Some form of vermin had chewed into the bag and hauled off every M&M and every nut BUT did not touch a single raisin. From that day forward I have never eaten another raisin. If a rat living at 13,000 feet with nothing but snow for miles won't eat a raisin I sure as hell will take the hint.

BTW mix 1 part candy corn to about 4 parts peanuts and the sum becomes better than the parts.
