Sobered up this year, have decided on holidays and weekends to play DD for my friends. Just drove a blackout drunk friend home that I hadn't seen in 20 years, made a post on FB that I'm available for rides tonight. He left his car at the bar and likely would have gotten a DWI, dude reeked of booze. Chances are he won't remember how he got home and I'm not going to throw it in his face either.

In all I gave two rides - both were waaaaaaay past .08 - second was a friend that got shithoused and was too lazy to walk. He saw my post and just decided to park his arse and wait. He would have had to cross some pretty busy roads in Slidell and that's no bueno.

Don’t you feel great not having a hangover right now ?
You can drink coffee and eat a good breakfast and enjoy the morning.
The big plus is you helped your friends and society by keeping them off the road.
