the shorter bed on the new trucks almost make it an suv, I wanted a longer bed but didn't want to wait four months for a new truck so I got it, Lariat 53k, I really like it

We have an overspending problem in this country and people pay too much for fancy new cars they don't need.

But if used car payments are up 18% in a year... in a low interest rate environment... that's a huge problem.

Most people need a car to get to work. And even if they drive it until the wheels fall off, and then get a new, sensible used car... it's still a problem if payments are increasing that much faster than wages are.

So your solution to this problem is buy a bike or ride a bus?

the vast majority of people
The vast majority live paycheck to paycheck with no regard for their future as they rack up debt to an alarming level.

Then they seek advise from Dave Ramsey and "snowball" all that debt by selling off those high priced vehicles dumbing down their transportation to a "grocery getter" level while they chip away at crippling credit card debt & student loans and eat rice & beans for years.
