I'm not vouching for or even use Ambit mind you. I use Direct Energy currently. Thing is, it is MLM. True. But it's one of those deals where it's almost impossible to fail on switching someone over simply knowing how power works (in Texas). There is no disconnection or interruption. It's all on paper/computer. That's it. I use a bank draft for the bill and never miss a beat.

MLM isn't necessarily some evil scheme. I won't necessarily knock a company for being MLM unless they tell me "You can make six figures in six months" as an employee. It really depends on the individual you deal with and how upfront they are with you.

Yeah I find some MLM products or services to be adequate, but the entrepreneurial side of it can be questionable at best. They want you to sign up for service, but they really want you to be an "independent consultant."
